Due north on the same hillside as Laura Lee Vineyard, Boneyard Vineyard is owned by Tom and Sharon Freeman, long-time Royal Slope residents and Lawrence Farms manager. The site is sustainably farmed by Lawrence Vineyards and features nearly five acres of Syrah on a beautiful southwest slope overlooking the town of Royal City. Planted 2017.

ABOUT THE NAME

When the Freeman family acquired this property and built the family home they unearthed all sorts of items in their clean up and development efforts, and call it the "boneyard" because of the many relics, including animal bones, on the land and in the soils here.
