Due north on the same hillside as Laura Lee Vineyard, Boneyard Vineyard is owned by Tom and Sharon Freeman, long‑time Royal Slope residents and Lawrence Farms manager. The site is sustainably farmed by Lawrence Vineyards and features nearly five acres of Syrah on a beautiful southwest‑facing slope overlooking the town of Royal City.

About the name:
When the Freeman family acquired this property and built their home, they unearthed all sorts of items during the cleanup and development process. They began calling it the “Boneyard” after discovering numerous relics, including animal bones, scattered throughout the land and embedded in the soils.
