About the name:
A nod to the distinctive shape of this vineyard site, “thunderstones” are ancient artifacts—often arrowheads—unearthed by farmers’ plows and long believed to have been cast to earth by thunderbolts. In Scandinavian folklore, they were even revered as protective family gods, said to ward off spells and witchcraft.
