Located atop the Frenchman Hills on the Royal Slope, this unique site features a range of angling south‑facing slopes, plus a small northwest‑facing exposure that hosts our first‑ever Pinot Noir planting. Currently 100 acres with future expansion to 240, Solaksen is sustainably farmed and continues to evolve as one of our most dynamic estate vineyards.

About the name:
Solaksen is a Norwegian-inspired term for “off-axis to the sun,” reflecting the intentional row orientation of this higher‑elevation vineyard site.
